DR Services has shower and bath leaks taped
If you come across a leak around a bath or shower, perhaps caused by shrinkage or settlement, it can be difficult and costly to fix.
But all that disruption is now a thing of the past since D R Services (London) has it taped! The company's DR-y Seal is simplicity itself to apply. Simply peel back the paper on the inside of the tape (100mm at a time) and then apply to a clean and dry surface.
Being a tape it wraps around corners perfectly and since there is no cure time, tiling can begin as soon as you have it taped and the tape is invisible in the finished installation.
In addition to being a great way to solve problems, the tape is also a very effective insurance policy against leakage caused by the movement, settlement or shrinkage of floors. It will accommodate vertical movement of at least 15mm so simply apply it to a clean and dry bonding surface and significantly reduce the risk of leaks.
DR-y Seal is simple to install in minutes without the use of tools and there's no mess. No special skills are required and the product has been designed to make it easy to manipulate round square corners. As a tape it is perfect to deal with problems caused by uneven walls and other odd surfaces.
It is such a handy tool that it soon becomes a standard part of the kit of any installer who uses it.
The standard tapes are three metres long, though other sizes are available on request.
