Sponsors needed...

The Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom Installers has launched a campaign to attract further sponsors, who would join AnyJunk, Blum, Classic Marble, Ezystone and Franke in promoting the Institute and its aims.

Launched in 2007, the not-for-profit registered organisation has just celebrated its third birthday with the announcement that it has over 500 installation businesses registered nationally.

It has also promised that an exciting new level of membership is soon to be unveiled...

"The iKBBI is continuing its aims and objectives as the UK's first and only Secretary of State sanctioned and industry supported Institute dedicated to KBB installation," says iKBBI director Damian Walters.

The iKBBI also announced that it will freeze membership fees for the third year running, as it looks to support its current and prospective members through the tough economic times. In addition, the Board has committed to continual investment into the iKBBI's awareness campaign, and in particular the marketing of its consumer website, where members are listed for free.

"Sponsorship has been vital for us in terms of financial support and I think it's fair to say that without this support, we would find it difficult to continue the good work that's being achieved."

Sponsorship brings many rewards to the sponsor also. The opportunity to link with professional installation businesses nationally and to gain from the domestic installation experience the iKBBI board has to offer are amongst the biggest benefits, especially when the business is looking to develop / launch new products or services to the industry.

"Whilst it's not a support it or lose it situation, we will rely on quality businesses to stand up and be counted," says Damien. "If the industry believes that there is a need for a professional organisation dedicated to KBB installation, now is the time to get behind it."
