LDL now stocking new Oeko Universal system from Peka

LDL Components is now stocking the new Oeko Universal range of built-in waste solutions from Swiss manufacturer Peka.

Designed to simplify waste sorting, the Oeko range comprises high quality plastic bins in 40, 17, 6 and 1.2 litre capacities and in a number of different combinations. The fitted frame and sophisticated anthracite colour gives the system a neat and attractive appearance and ensures that waste falls directly into the bag and not elsewhere.

The flexible bag holder system allows waste bags of various sizes, from 15 to 50 litres, to be clipped into the frame quickly and easily. One large bag or two smaller bags may be used, depending on the particular sorting requirements.

Above the bin is a solid metal, pull-out shelf (fixed in 900mm options), a handy place to store waste bags, cleaning materials, a dustpan and brush, and other small utensils. The height of the back wall can be adjusted so that the system fits neatly under the sink.

Also included in the range is the 1.2 litre lidded bin for compost or cleaning materials. This bin has high walls, making it suitable for storing bottles of cleaning materials, plus a large carry handle and grip on the lid so that hands stay clean when emptying the bin. The bin's rounded design ensures that no pieces of waste remain stuck in the corners.

Although the Oeko Universal system has been designed primarily for use with Blum's Legrabox drawer system, it works equally well with any other drawer system that has a minimum depth of 450mm.

As is usual with LDL, showroom incentives are available for independents through to multiple outlet retailers to encourage thorough product knowledge and to enable product demonstrations to be carried out with flair.
