Gaia provides underfloor luxury to prestige river-side apartments

Gaia's electric underfloor system has been used to bring warmth and comfort to a new apartment development overlooking the river at Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey.

Developed by Lifestyle Design and Build, (www.lifestylebyasq.co.uk), the apartments at Riverside Court feature DEVImat self-adhesive electric mesh heating systems to provide warm floors in the bathrooms. Ideal as a supplementary heating system, DEVImat can also be used as a room heating system, depending on the heat loss of the room.

At Riverside Court, high-level thermal insulation meant that DEVImat was all the heating required in the bathrooms.

DEVImat is designed for installation in the adhesive layer directly below the floor tiles. This ensures a rapid heat transfer to the floor surface so that the room is comfortable and warm.

The system is ideal for bathrooms and other areas which require occasional heating all year round - including the warmer months when the main heating is switched off.
