New Year, new partner: Symphony Group commits to iKBBI
Following a monumental 2015, The Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom Installers has this week today announced another major development to kick-start the New Year as the retail division of Barnsley-based KBB giant Symphony Group, becomes an official Installation Standards Partner.
Symphony is one of the UK's largest privately owned manufacturers of fitted kitchen, bedroom and bathroom furniture, with a turnover exceeding £180 million. Its customers include private developers, social housing providers, hoteliers and independent retailers throughout the UK and overseas.
Driven by a quest for an unmatched quality of service, Symphony has invested heavily in systems and technology to help deliver 'right first time service - every time,' and the business believes its support of the iKBBI Installation Standards initiative will not only strengthen its own proposition, but will also contribute massively to the wider installation community.
Speaking on behalf of Symphony, Robert Williamson, retail national business development manager and building division premium projects manager (pictured left alongside iKBBI CEO Damian Walters), said: "As a major brand in the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom industry, we're committed to offering the highest standards of installation in all of our projects. Becoming an iKBBI Installation Standards Partner is the perfect fit for Symphony which, we believe, demonstrates our dedication to delivering a 'right, first time, every time' service.
"We are looking forward to working together in the future and having a long and productive relationship."
iKBBI CEO Damian Walters added: "We're delighted that the mega-brand that is Symphony has chosen to support the Installation Standards Partnership as the success of the initiative is dependent on great brands joining forces to support a common goal.
"Improved installation standards and the support of professional installers is crucial for our industry, not only for today but for the short, medium and long term future.
"2015 was a great year for the iKBBI with unprecedented member growth, continued association with some of the industry's most respected brands, a new magazine and our apprenticeship announcement to name a few milestones.
"The iKBBI celebrates its 10th year anniversary this year, and I'm incredibly proud of what we've achieved over the last decade."
Symphony Group joins a network of independent retailers as Installation Standards Partners, as well as national & international including brands of Bathstore and John Lewis Partnership.
The iKBBI now represents the largest network of independently accredited kitchen, bedroom and bathroom installers in the UK and furthermore invites KBB specialist retailers to join the initiative.
