ArtiCAD delivers 'game-changing' iPad solution for Betta Living
CAD software specialist for the KBB industry, ArtiCAD, has developed an innovative iPad solution for Betta Living's bedroom designers.
The new solution is currently being rolled out to more than 30 of the company's bedroom designers, with plans to extend this to all 60-plus Betta Living designers over the course of the next few months.
The new iPad solution, which incorporates ArtiCAD's Pan360 panoramic viewer and support for electronic signatures, is integrated with an appointment-booking system and with the EQ CRM system to provide a completely end-to-end paperless sales process from initial appointment through to confirmation of the order details for manufacturing.
"For large-scale retailers, such as Betta Living, this is a real game changer," states Guy Stanton, a director of Betta Living. "Order delivery can be completed in seconds, compared with the previous approach which took about two weeks. Reducing the sales lead time is beneficial to cash flow, whilst accuracy of design, ordering and pricing have all improved dramatically.
"We can link the iPad to a customer's plasma screen television to provide them with a real 'theatre' experience using Pan360: our customers think it is phenomenal."
Based in Oldham, Betta Living designs, manufactures, supplies and installs some 300 kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms every week. The company has achieved growth rates of 30% a year in recent years with an annual turnover of about £50 million. In addition to its own-brand outlets, Betta Living has also formed partnerships with Dobbies Garden Centres and most recently with B&Q at its centres in Farnborough, New Malden and Havant.
Betta Living initially installed ArtiCAD-Pro for the company's full service bathroom business in 2012, extending its use in 2014 to bedroom design.
