Methven reinforces national accounts team with three key appointments
Following the opening of its new UK Head Office and showroom in late 2015, Methven has strengthened the national account team and made the key appointments to further reinforce its support for customers across the UK.
James Duncan has been appointed national account manager for specifiers, Lee Head joins as national account manager for national merchants, along with James Gibbard who is responsible for buying groups.
James Duncan brings with him six years' experience within the bathroom industry, joining the company from sanitary and brassware brand Kohler, and is tasked with growing the Methven brand in new build, commercial and education sectors. Lee Head joins from Redring Xpelair, where he worked for eight years handling national merchant sales, and is now working to strengthen Methven's merchant network across the UK. James Gibbard arrives from the FMCG sector, where he spent six years managing key accounts for houseware brand Creative Tops, and he is responsible for building Methven's presence in buying groups.
"2015 was a big year for Methven, with the launch of our award-winning Aio shower with patented Aurajet technology and moving into our state-of-the-art new Experience Centre," says Martin Walker, CEO at Methven UK. "2016 marks our 130th anniversary and with further innovation launching later this year and our new appointments, it further supports our ongoing commitment to ensure we meet the needs and demands of our customers, regardless of their sector or location.
"We are confident that we have an established team of experts who are ready to meet with customers both old and new."
