Whirlpool UK appliances appoints new digital marketing manager
Whirlpool UK Appliances has appointed Hanifa Dungarwalla as digital marketing manager, UK & Eire. Hanifa will be responsible for the online presence of the Whirlpool, Hotpoint and Indesit brands, ensuring a strong user experience and maximising the brands' overall key messages.
She will also be responsible for managing the digital team and working closely with the communications team to deliver the best overall consumer experience.
Hanifa previously held a freelance digital & social media marketing consultant role with DigitalBlanc, a digital marketing consultancy that offers workshops and training. In addition, she has experience as a digital and PR manager for Upbeat Drinks, successfully developing an SEO and social media strategy. She brings to her new role a wealth of experience in the management of marketing teams, execution of multiplatform marketing strategies, development of Ecommerce, as well as managing budgets.
"I'm really excited about joining Whirlpool UK Appliances, although it is a completely new industry sector to me, I am very much looking forward to the challenge," she says. "I'm a highly motivated and results driven individual and I'd like to continue to grow the company's online presence and ensure that consumers have strong online brand affinity.
