An installer's dream... Wirquin's Quick Fit wows Innovation Awards judges

Changing a faulty flush valve in a close coupled cistern can be a chore, what with having to remove the cistern and on most occasions cut through rusted bolts which can add time to the job.

The advantages to the installer when using the Quick Fit is not only the time saving aspect but also making it unnecessary for the installer to bend down and try and remove hard to reach bolts - something that impressed the Innovations Awards judges and led to an award.

Thanks to its patented system, the Quick Fit flush valve fits directly into the existing installation and doesn't require the cistern to be removed. The new Butyl seal ensures an instantaneous water seal allowing for the cistern to be filled instantly - and of course the Butyl sealing system has been successfully used in swimming pools and for car windows over a number of years, so is, as we say, 'tried and tested'.

Another feature is the 'EasyClip' quick release locking system for the button, with a simple clip mechanism for easy servicing and maintenance to gain access to the cistern. This will fit a range of holes in the cistern lid from 14 to 58mm diameter making it a solution for all applications.

The final point to keep the installation speedy is the adjustable telescopic overflow that simply slides into place and locks with a clip for security.
