Karonia: striking new designs, a new brochure (and was it a case of 'Play Mistral for me'?)

In case you're wondering about the 'Play Mistral for me' headline, some of the Karonia team entertain the crowds at the aftershow party on the opening day of the show (and they're very good, which is probably why they perform at every KBB Birmingham show).

This is where Mistral comes in - it's the popular range of 25mm solid surfacing, that now comes in three new colours which can be seen with the rest of the range in a new consumer brochure designed to demonstrate the limitless creative potential of this practical and versatile worksurface.

Initially launched at KBB 2010, Mistral has quickly evolved into a market-leading worktop brand as retailers and designers have grasped the design implications of its features and benefits, along with its eminent suitability for busy domestic environments. Seeing the reaction of some of the installers who weren't familiar with the surface prior to the show, as the stand team demonstrated the features and benefits - well - we believe Karonia's going to have a busy time over the coming months dealing with all the enquiries...

Available to order from 4th April 2016, the three new colours have been developed in close association with key retailers and will significantly enhance the range, adding extra dimensions and choice. They are as follows:

* Lunas - taking inspiration from the appearance of natural stone, this light cream decor harmonises beautifully, equally at home with other neutral tones or contrasting darker colours.
* Polaris - based on Karonia's newly redeveloped brighter Glacier white, this colour really does add some sparkle to the party, shimmering as the light reflects on its glitter particles.
* Orion - a glance at the night sky in worktop form, with larger sparkling chips gleaming against a charcoal background, catching the light and bringing the surface to life.

Karonia also took the opportunity to reintroduce the Orello sink range to retailers. The original range has been honed in response to constructive feedback from retailers and installers and now offers a winning combination of seamless flush fit sinks in the most popular bowl sizes and formats. Available in a clean, crisp, matt white finish, Orello sinks are the perfect partner for Mistral worktops.

For Karonia, KBB 2016 represented a platform on which to build the future. Keenly aware that those designers, installers and retailers who deliver the Mistral brand promises to consumers on a daily basis form a crucial part of future plans and success, Karonia has developed Mistral Connect, a retailer support scheme representing the brand's commitment to develop and grow with customers.
