Ruth Hinks, UK World Chocolate Master, didn't disappoint crowds on Franke stand
Not that (with its great products and reputation) Franke needed another stand attraction, but it thought it would provide the icing on the cake - chocolate of course - by inviting UK World Chocolate Master, Ruth Hinks, to help 'Make it Wonderful' by crafting stunning chocolate showpieces at Franke's KBB exhibition stand this year. The chocolate brownies were pretty good too...
The event gave retailers a first chance to meet Ruth, who will also lead Franke's 'More in Store Blooming Great Tea Party' campaign, now in its third year, in support of Marie Curie.
Franke reaffirmed its support for its specialist showroom retailers by bringing together its More in Store initiative with exclusive exhibition offers, sister brands Carron Phoenix and premium tap manufacturer, KWC, all in a new stand design that underscored the global Make it Wonderful strategy.
Carron Phoenix promoted a reinvigorated programme for its popular Carron Centres with attractive display incentives.
Taking centre stage in a dedicated boiling water tap area was Franke's new Omni 4-in-1 tap, which dispenses filtered 100?C boiling, filtered cold and mains hot and cold water, all from a single tap mixer.
The energy saving and anti-condensation technology featured on Franke's Maris extractor hoods (pictured) was also showcased.
The Maris Plus features a brushless motor and LED lighting, giving it an A+ energy rating and earning it Franke's 'Greenline' status for energy efficiency. It has four operating speeds starting at 49 decibels to a maximum of 67 decibels, plus an intensive setting for short, powerful bursts.
The stylish hood is manufactured in black glass and available in three sizes of 60, 80 and 90cm. It features a digital display and three speed settings and its ghost controls, which are not visible when the hood is turned off, add to its smooth and streamlined aesthetics.
It is one of the few hoods on the market where air can be extracted directly through the rear of the unit, removing the need for ducting if the installation allows. Alternatively, it can be mounted on a wall without a chimney for use in re-circulatory mode. The Maris Plus won a Red Dot Award in 2015 for design and innovation.
