Smart surfaces and clever ideas from Bushboard

* Bushboard.jpgShowcasing its commitment to 'smart surfaces and clever ideas' Bushboard's stand had four dedicated kitchen zones showing the depth and breadth of its portfolio of premium Prima and Omega laminate and pioneering installer-ready Encore solid surface and M-Stone quartz worksurfaces, offering retailers a choice of products to meet all design needs and price points.

Adding to that, Bushboard is majoring on its strong support for independent showroom retailers with free installer training, comprehensive POS showroom display support for all brands and 360 degree customer service offering technical and product advice and free sampling.

Said Jo Gilhooly, marketing director at Bushboard: "We place a very high value on our retail partnerships and we want to support them in the very best way we can. In the last six months, we've reorganised our customer service team into a new office, introduced a new CRM system and added new staff, as well as streamlining our POS and sampling service to provide a super-quick response.

"The demand from customers has been overwhelming, requiring us to significantly increase our marketing stock so we can despatch a complete POS stand quickly, direct to the retailer's premises and send samples to their customers in 24 hours.

"Our focus is on being 100% engaged with our retailers and this substantial back-of-house investment means that we can fully support our retailers who are at the front end of generating business."

Following its Autumn launch in 2015, the award winning Prima laminate worksurface range demonstrated why it's at the vanguard of laminate innovation with its 22mm Slimline thickness that responds to the design-led trend for thinner worksurfaces.

The range also scores another first with a dedicated island component size of 3000 x 1205mm allowing retailers and consumers to achieve a luxurious island easily and cost-effectively, featured at the show in Calacatta Marble. There are six 22mm Slimline designs available in the island unit size which also include Jet Sequoia, Marbled Cappuccino, Muscavado Granite, Lightning Marble and Pearl Marble, together with three best-selling designs of Amber Kashmir, Black Granite and Natural Block Walnut.

With a 52-strong collection, the revamped Prima range includes 10 new worktop designs, 18 new splashbacks and three new textures that collectively reflect the most avant-garde collection of new laminate designs with ragged copper, graphic prints and an extension of the luxurious True Scale collection. Seven of the designs add to the popular True Scale family, which mirrors the luxurious looks of natural granite, stone and marble at a more affordable price point. These are Soapstone Sequoia in the new Honed texture, Crema Mascarello, Pearl Marble, Antique Marble and Lightning Marble in the Etchings texture and Jet Sequoia and Marbled Cappuccino in Radiance texture.
"Laminate's calling card is that it can deliver stylish design at an attainable price point for consumers and our investment and product development has centred on opening up the latest trends for thinner worksurfaces, PP square edges and luxury islands to the broadest spectrum of customers possible," explained Jo.?

"Bushboard pioneered the installer-ready approach to solid surface and quartz, unlocking its potential for retailers to sell and install higher value, design aspirational worksurfaces to mainstream consumers.

"At KBB 2016 we are underscoring the opportunities offered by Encore and M-Stone for earning higher margins, faster installations and enhanced project control."
