Kitchen design that is as smooth as silk: that's Masterclass

* Sutton-Graphite-CoastalMist.jpgWe made Masterclass our first visit of the day on Tuesday and the stand was already packed by just gone 10:00. We soon understood why. What a collection - and made in Wales too!

Smooth to the touch and just as easy on the eye, the newly introduced silk finish was attracting lots of attention, as were the four new kitchen collections that wear it well.

In a choice of five colours that reflect the trend for a blue-grey palette in traditional and contemporary kitchen design, the Masterclass Silk finish is available on four new door styles, catering for every taste.

For a sophisticated look in the contemporary kitchen, Sutton is a flat slab foil faced door, which can be combined with a wide choice of handles for an individual finish. Responding to the trend for handle-free, minimal kitchen design, Roma is a J-pull door with a flawless painted surface, which is the ideal choice for the open-plan kitchen-diner.

For something a little more classic in style, Marlborough and Chatsworth have a shaker design, creating a timeless elegance in kitchens of all sizes. Marlborough offers a wealth of Masterclass exclusive accessories and internals, such as mantles, shaker-detailed panelling and chef's tables, all of which can be combined with cornicing to create a high-end, bespoke in-frame look.

Each of the four new doors is available exclusively in the manufacturer's new Silk finish, which defines the beautiful blue-grey colour palette of White, Coastal Mist, Light Grey, Dust Grey and Graphite. These can be combined in numerous ways enabling retailers to offer their customers a bespoke, tailor-made service.

But that wasn't all...

Ensuring a quality, bespoke standard finish from the inside out, Masterclass Kitchens has introduced two new cabinet colours which feature a superior finish inside and out. Portland Oak and Tuscan Walnut respond to the trend for natural wood grain in the kitchen and combine beautifully with the wide range of door styles available.

To enhance the new cabinet colours, matching drawer boxes and internal accessories are also now available in the same material.

Designed to be teamed with very high quality running systems, Masterclass drawer boxes have a bigger capacity that standard steel drawers. Finished in exactly the right colour and edging for a superior level of quality, the drawers are have a capacity of up to 40kg and 60kg on the largest drawers.

Enabling retailers to offer customers a fully customised, quality kitchen at a mid-market price point, Masterclass drawers can be fitted with cutlery inserts.

For the ultimate storage solution in the busy family kitchen, Masterclass Kitchens offers an exclusive Pantry system which can be tailored to individual needs.

Inspired by a move towards 'Mary Berry style' homebaking and the need to maximise the kitchen's storage potential, the Pantry system ensures everything has its place in style.

Enabling retailers to create the perfect pantry for their customers in a way that is normally akin with much higher-end products, Masterclass offers bespoke internals and a range of mix and match storage products to help create the ultimate space.

in eight different size options and many combinations, the Pantry system is available in the latest Tusan Walnut and Portland Oak finishes. There is also the option to retrofit a Pantry system into an existing larder, enabling retailers to dramatically transform an existing kitchen space very easily.

Another new offering is the Teardrop feature door, which as you might imagine, has distinctive curve appeal. Yet another design-led feature from Masterclass, Teardrop cleverly creates the illusion of curved frontages, enabling retailers to create a high-end finish at a competitive price point.

Suggestive of an expensive curved or bow frontage, Teardrop is a simple yet effective concept that makes the door appear to be curved.

Following on from the success of the manufacturer's 'flight' angled frontage systems, this latest uniquely-shaped system offers retailers an affordable but exclusive option within a modern kitchen design.

Teardrop is available on several of the best-selling ranges within the Masterclass Kitchens contemporary portfolio, including Reno, Nevada and Luna.
