KBBG enjoys immense success on much larger stand than that used in 2014
When we finally managed to get onto the stand on the final day, we met with Marcel Crezee, CEO of Der Kreis, of which the Kitchen Bathroom Buying Group is a part.
Marcel told us something we'd already noticed - that they'd enjoyed huge success and a packed stand throughout the show - plus some interesting background to the organisation and some interesting insights into the German kitchen market.
Showcased for the first time in the UK, the stand introduced the stunning new Stormer kitchen furniture range (pictured) with the addition of modern and striking technology, available to KBBG members. The spectacular flueless ethanol open fire, exclusive to Stormer, was an eye-catching inset between two built-in ovens, while O+F, Airo Design used the show as the UK launch platform for their induction hob with an integrated downdraft extractor.
When we congratulated him on the stand and said how busy it had been all week (and still was) Bill Miller, managing director, KBBG commented: "The stand looks stunning, with outstanding new furniture and appliances not seen before in the UK and the show has been much more successful than the 2014 event - and it's not even finished yet. It's attracted tremendous attention with current members taking the opportunity to sign-up for the raft of show offers, while we've been flooded with new sales leads from superb quality independent kitchen specialists, exceedingly interested in joining the KBBG.
"We are absolutely delighted with our results from the show. It's certainly the best UK kitchen and bathroom trade show for many years, with terrific footfall and a positive attitude from the retailers. We have certainly, more than, exceeded our objectives."
