'Master your Metropolis' with Urban Interior (London)

* urban-interiors.jpgChampioning the latest trend for farm-to-table food preparation, luxury interiors showroom, Urban Interior, brings nature back into the home with its innovative granite Herb Garden, featured in the Urban Kitchen Collection by SieMatic.

Designed with the modern lifestyle in mind, a herb garden in the kitchen is perfect for metropolis environments as it is both sustainable and aesthetically pleasing.

Even though a herb garden is a relatively small detail in the kitchen, its overall impact is significant. Creating a dedicated area to cultivate organic food and ingredients to cook with, this unique kitchen element is ideal for growing fresh herbs that you can tend daily or fragrant flowers to add natural aroma and beauty to the space.

As pictured, this herb garden is a worthy addition to the Urban SE 8008 LM Kitchen by SieMatic and it can be designed as a one line solution, around the corner or as a small top box upon the countertop: the options are endless. The waterproof stainless steel inserts in accommodating dimensions have been specifically designed to enable users to plant and grow their own herbs, in the comfort of the home!

Finished in Graphite Grey Matt and Sand Oak Veneer, this herb garden concept also features SieMatic's StoneDesign work surface in Silver Moon Uni Textured Quartzite which is available in eight StoneDesign materials (including precious marble or slate) as well as matt and gloss laminate.

"As design possibilities open up, so do the choice of materials and the freedom of expression to use them," says Dieter Berends, senior designer at Urban Interior. "The Urban Kitchen Collection is ideal for creating a sustainable kitchen environment in the city, suburbs or rural areas. By inviting nature in to the kitchen we are able to remove the boundaries between inside and out, and prove that a lack of outdoor space is no longer a hindrance."

With a unique insight into each client's lifestyle, Urban Interior's award winning design team will work to create a bespoke dream kitchen. From start to finish, customers are involved and made aware at every stage of design: including how the materials are sourced and even transported.
