Utility room with innovative dog washing area

Edmondson Interiors has announced the launch of its new bespoke contemporary utility room - now on display in its Kent showroom. Within the utility room the company has designed an innovative and very unusual (and useful) dog washing area which can of course also be used for either boots or sports equipment washing too!

When the shower is not in use the dog basket can be handily placed in the space. The floor has porcelain tiles for practical washing reasons! Edmondson Interiors has already fitted several of these for clients in country homes with great success.

So often utility rooms are not given as much design consideration as the main kitchen and shown here is exactly what can be achieved when a lot more design effort and creativity is put in!

Edmondson Interiors has created a wonderful mix of materials with grey open shelving with a fabulous pop of colour of orange inside. The base cupboards are veneered in a tinted grey ripple eucalyptus and the tall cupboards are veneered in an American Ash. Inside the cabinetry there are dedicated spaces for shoe cleaning products, BBQ tools, household tools and even batteries for everyday use. There is also a cupboard for storing dog and bird food.

The tall laundry cupboards are wallpapered with a stunning photo of a local beach which is such an unusual design addition. Altogether a truly and innovative utility room design!
