New Pro filter system launched by Pando

Pando, the Spanish cooker hood and extractor manufacturer, has added an integrated filter system to its existing range of premium products.

The new Pro filter system is available in two different sizes (Pro 52 - 520mm and Pro 85 - 850mm) and will fit either a 600mm or 900mm kitchen unit. Bespoke units over 900mm are also available which covers more surface area than any other similar system that is currently on the market.

The Pro is compact in measurement in other areas and will fit perfectly into any kind of top unit and a depth of just 265mm is required for installation. The flexible unit also features an adaptable flue which allows a vertical or rear method of exit. A simple adaptation can be made by the installer once the desired method of extraction is finalised.

As with all its models, the unit benefits from the SEC System, which is an easy cleaning and sound proofing system that is unique to Pando. The Pro also features the latest generation motor in the V.850 which has a maximum flow rate of 830m3/h when using ducting up to 8m in length.

The maze-style professional stainless steel filters have been designed to allow good levels of air flow to assist grease particles to condense. This process helps to keep the motor free from dirt to prolong its working life by sparing it from wear and tear.

Optional filters for hoods without an exterior exit are readily available on request. The active carbon filters are much more efficient, can be removed to be cleaned and are effective for up to three years.
