Dear Jan,

We are a small kitchen, bedroom and bathroom provider and wondered if you could help with an issue we are having. We fitted an en suite for a customer in 2013 and unfortunately the shower tray developed a hairline crack/crazing. The supplier has stated that there is only a two-year guarantee with the tray and refuses to replace it.

Whilst we appreciate our customer's concern and have offered to provide free labour, they feel we should replace everything free of charge.

What would be your opinion?

We are keen to protect our reputation but feel the manufacturers should take this on board.
