Ripples founder wins lifetime achievement award

Ripples founder and chief executive Roger Kyme has been awarded a Lifetime Achievement award at the BKU awards.

Roger has spent an impressive 40 years in the bathroom industry with a career that spans the Atlantic. His passion to run his own showroom brought him back to the UK and in 1988 he opened the doors to his own bathroom showroom 'Ripples' with his wife Sandra.

It was in Bath that he started a new wave of retailing bathrooms; he introduced the UK to luxury bathroom showrooms with design experts at the helm. His approach to retailing bathrooms was groundbreaking.

Fast-forward 28 years, Ripples has over 60 industry awards and 12 franchised Ripples showrooms, all working with the high standards Roger implemented!

Ripples is known for its 'added value', hand-drawn designs, beautiful showrooms, the very best products, excellent training schemes and expert knowledge. Roger always focuses on the customer. His high standards have helped set the benchmark for the bathroom retailing industry.

Roger is not only respected within Ripples but the industry too, suppliers seek his advice (often in confidence) about how to launch products and he also gives up time to teach students about business.
