Grohe and Philips Sound bring the joy of music to the shower experience
Grohe and Philips Sound have unveiled the Aquatunes waterproof Bluetooth speaker, bringing a high-quality, immersive musical experience to the bathroom. Users simply pair the speaker with their smartphone or tablet and enjoy their favourite music, radio station or any other source of audio.
Aquatunes has been designed to be a great-sounding, good-looking addition to any bathroom.
Whether it's singing along to a favourite song in the shower, starting the day by catching up with the news on the radio, or relaxing in the bath, Aquatunes enhances the bathroom experience. The speaker is the result of a collaboration between two brands with a strong track record of innovation.
Designed by the Grohe Design Studio, the loudspeaker uses minimal shelf space - simply attach its holder directly to the shower rail, lock it in place and turn it on to enjoy the music.
The organic, round shape of the speaker is designed to complement Grohe's most popular hand showers. It is easy to connect the speaker by pairing it with any smartphone, tablet or Bluetooth- enabled device; and with a range of up to 10 metres, the device will remain safe and dry. CE-certified and 100% waterproof, the loudspeaker easily withstands both jets of water and falls from a height of up to 1.5 metres.
To recharge Aquatunes, remove it from the shower rail and place it in its charging station. The multifunctional dock also serves as a holder for the loudspeaker, which means that the battery can be recharged while still listening to music. The Aquatunes Bluetooth speaker is not only great for the shower, but its portability means it's perfect for any occasion - whether in the garden or at a friend's house, there will always be the option of listening to music.
Keeping things simple in the shower, Aquatunes has clearly marked buttons - on/off, volume up/down, previous/next track and for Bluetooth pairing. Two LEDs show the status of the Bluetooth connection, whether the loudspeaker is on as well as the battery status - all the information you need at first glance.
