New headquarters for ArtiCAD
Congratulations and best of luck to CAD software specialist for the KBB market, ArtiCAD - moving today to new headquarters in central Watford, leaving York House (on the Wolsey Business Park) after 10 years based there.
The new offices in Rickmansworth Road, designed by commercial interiors specialists whose clients include Google, MOO.COM, and KAYAK, are almost double the size of the company's previous accommodation, and offer ultra-modern facilities. Importantly, the new headquarters has much more space for dedicated training rooms and far greater space for meetings and technology presentations, including a new feature tech bench.
"The training facilities are in a completely different league - a major consideration for us - as we offer training for all our new customers as an integral part of the purchase of their software," explains Theresa Turner, a director of ArtiCAD.
"Hundreds of ArtiCAD customers attend different courses throughout the course of the year and the size, flexibility and standard of the training rooms is crucial.
"From the point of view of our staff, many of whom live locally in the Watford area, our new home in the centre of the town makes it very accessible by public transport, which I know is something they welcome."
In addition to the nearby array of restaurants and shops in the town centre, the new headquarters is almost opposite Watford's largest recreational green space, Cassiobury Park. The offices are within easy walking distance of both Watford Junction national rail station and Watford Metropolitan Line station on the London Underground. Junction 19 of the M25 is just a mile away and London Heathrow and Luton airports are 20 minutes by car.
"The location of the offices is unparalleled for both our staff and customers," adds Theresa. "We are delighted to have secured it when so much of the local commercial property is being converted to domestic dwellings - as is the case with our former office building."
The new headquarters provides a spacious and prestigious location for the next phase of ArtiCAD's growth.
