EKCO wins Young Designer of the Year Award for second year running

The KBSA has announced the winner of the Young Designer of the Year, sponsored by PWS, at the 2016 KBSA Designer Awards, as Angus MacKintosh from Edinburgh Kitchen Company (EKCO) in Lothian.

The judges said: "For a young designer this was fantastic - creatively it bucked the trend to everything else, good use of storage and glass behind the wall units - nice detail".

Renee Mascari, KBSA Designer Awards head judge said of the entrants' efforts:

"All entries have shown experience beyond their years as young designers; they are the future of our industry, and these designs are examples of the young design talent we have - fresh and inspirational!"
