Daval ends 2016 with a bang!
Daval Furniture tells us it is pleased to end 2016 with a bang, seeing an unprecedented level of enquiries this fiscal year and tripling its pick-up rate when compared to 2015...
With new design trends and concepts from Europe hitting the UK high street, Daval has seen the British furniture market open up to a new set of interior furniture solutions for the modern homeowner.
Furnishing the kitchen, living, bedroom and bathroom areas, this transference has resulted in a more varied portfolio from British manufacturers: "Another indication that international influences continue to drive the marketplace forward by providing direct competition to the UK in terms of design and manufacture," says Simon Bodsworth, managing director of Daval.
Winter 2016 is able to forecast a 22% increase in business for Daval when compared to this time last year: with 14% of that share attributed to kitchen furniture.
"I believe our GDP has stemmed from Daval's exclusive concept design and manufacturing techniques which have enabled us, as a British furniture brand, to achieve a high level of market acceptance that is rivalling market competition."
Daval is fundamentally a 'service based product offering', instead of stock based. This ability to answer demand, as and when required, has ensured mass market appeal and affordability: proving that quality fitted furniture no longer dominates only the luxury end of the market.
"Our made to measure furniture ensures storage can be considered from floor to ceiling and wall to wall," adds Simon. "There is no need for large infill panels or top boxes over the wardrobe which can look unsightly, add unnecessary costs or potentially compromise on storage.
"We at Daval call this process 'Option-i', our unique production technology which allows us to manufacture made to order, made to measure furniture with the utmost of ease."
Looking to 2017, Daval intends to continue to define British furniture in terms of design, materials and technological investment: recognising that speculation brings greater stability in the long run.
In addition, investing in people is also fundamental for Daval which has resulted in 10 staff appointments this year which is no doubt set to continue next year - from office to factory floor.
"Our heritage as a cabinet maker is what makes us so passionate not only about design, but more importantly what happens behind the door," says Simon.
