Staff at IDS Nuneaton give local children an 'eggs-celent' Easter treat

Youngsters across Nuneaton are in for a treat as kind-hearted staff at the local branch of International Decorative Surfaces (IDS) donate 200 Easter eggs to Barnardo's Children's Centres across the town.

"We appealed for people to bring in Easter eggs and due to the generosity of customers, staff and the wider community the donations have really piled up," says Jamie Barnes, sales office manager at IDS in Nuneaton.

"We can't thank everyone enough for their amazing support. There are many families across the region who simply cannot afford to treat their children at Easter, so we hope to put smiles on many faces with this donation."

Barnardo's is the chosen charity for IDS nationally this year and events are being held up and down the country to help raise vital funds for its work. There are five Barnardo's Children's Centres across Nuneaton which support over 500 families every month.

Staff at the Nuneaton IDS branch have now loaded up a van full of the donated Easter eggs to be distributed to children across the town through the Barnardo's centres.
