Birmingham resident's oven stands the test of time

* Birmingham-residents-oven.jpgLocal retailer Macphersons Appliances Direct in Birmingham has teamed up with Neff to replace a customer's 34-plus-year-old oven, free of charge.

The oven, which the customer has had for over a quarter of a century, is still fully functioning, minus the broken hinge that cannot be replaced. The store has removed and replaced the old appliance and provided the customer with a new oven as well as installing it.

Simon Farnan, sales director at BSH comments: "The main reason we recommend Neff is due to the longevity and quality the brand offers. We know when we sell a customer a Neff oven that they will be happy with our recommendation and will hopefully use us for future appliance purchases."

Neff was founded 140 years ago in Bretten, Germany by Carl Neff whose focus was not on the technology of the ovens but on the people that use them. From the first patented gas burner for bakeries in 1919 to the launch of the first microwave in Europe in 1954, the brand continues to set new standards with inspired ideas in cooking and baking. Today, Negg continues to win major international design awards for aesthetics, functionality and for making cooking easy and enjoyable.

Jo Eyers, Group Marketing Manager for Neff comments: "We pride ourselves on top quality German engineering and have done so for the last 140 years. We believe that the kitchen is the heart of every home - a place to eat, meet and get creative in the kitchen and we are constantly working to meet the demands of every lifestyle. We hope that the customer enjoys her brand-new oven and she continues to enjoy it for another 34 years plus!"
