Smeg UK has announced three new appointments
Firstly, Allister Reed has been promoted to the position of sink and tap sales manager. As a newly created role to support the huge investment in this area and supporting Smeg's dedicated factory, this national position will see Allister working closely with Smeg's sales team to nurture and build upon opportunities with the brand's existing customers.
Allister will also be tasked with targeting new opportunities in the kitchen specialist sector, developers, builder's merchants and the company's key distributor channels.
Secondly, Mark Towns has been appointed as regional sales support manager across the central region, including the Midlands and East Anglia. Joining the brand with lots of industry experience, Mark will be responsible for instore training and customer support across Smeg's broad mix of national and independent customers.
Finally, Simon Stark has been promoted to head of SDA. Bringing a wealth of experience to the role, Starkie will be tasked with working to support Smeg's independent electrical retailers, national accounts and department stores. He will also lead the growth of distribution in the specialist cook shops and housewares industries in this specialist area of the business. In addition, Simon also be heavily involved in new product development and their associative launches.
