HIB directors raise £13,500 for charity

* HIB-directors.jpgTwo HiB directors turned fundraisers recently, by skydiving and running a marathon in aid of Muscular Dystrophy UK and Nicki's Smile. The total funds raised came to over £13,500, providing a welcome boost to two vital charitable organisations.

Managing director, Robert Ginsberg, signed up to run the London Marathon whilst finance director, Himesh Shah, braved the skydive as part of the bathroom product manufacturer's ongoing commitment to supporting worthy causes.

"Muscular Dystrophy UK is a wonderful charity which helps the 70,000 people living with muscle-wasting conditions across the nation and it was an absolute honour to take to the skies in their aid," says Himesh. "The overall amount raised really has blown us away and we're incredibly grateful to our friends, families and colleagues for their generous donations."

Robert adds: "By running the London Marathon I'm thrilled to have raised funds for Nicki's Smile; a charity set up in memory of Nicki Blake and which tirelessly campaigns to improve pancreatic cancer survival. I'm truly overwhelmed by the amount of support we've received.

"Working with such worthy causes is incredibly important to us at HiB, and it is our aspiration to create a positive legacy in the communities in which we operate. It's been fantastic to represent these charities which are very close to our hearts and we are delighted to have been able to make a difference."
