Sales growth in contracts division leads to new director at Kitchens International

Derek Dobbins, manager of contract kitchen sales, has been appointed director of award-winning independent kitchen retailer, Kitchens International.

As the fifth board member, Derek heads up the highly successful and growing contracts division Kitchens International (KI). Derek joined KI in 2010 at the height of the recession but in the last seven years has seen a huge growth in new build developments.

With a team of five designers under Derek and a further 17 project administrators, fitters and project managers, the contracts division plays a key role in KI's success across Scotland and north of England.

With almost 30 years' experience in designing and selling contract kitchens, Derek was previously contract sales manager at Tradestyle Cabinets.
