Thirty-eight stunning apartments pick Nuance for beautiful bathrooms
As a captivating alternative to ceramic wall tiling, innovative home builder Darren Smith Homes in West Yorkshire has chosen Bushboard's Nuance bathroom wall panelling as a compelling and practical way of creating spectacular bathrooms for 38 luxury apartments in Newgate, Mirfield, West Yorkshire.
Darren Smith Homes is a family-run company that has been creating luxury homes for over 50 years. Proud of the company's reputation for quality and service, site agent Tony Hutton explains the thinking behind the decision to attract potential buyers with Nuance-enhanced bathrooms:
"Choosing Nuance was a bit of a leap for us... we've always tiled our bathrooms. We are blown away with the results!
"Bushboard couldn't have been more accommodating in terms of design and supply. From sample service through to a design and installation training, Bushboard was supportive the whole way through.
"The end result is remarkable, undetectable seams and no trims whatsoever; which gives a top-quality feel - a real point of difference for our homes too."
Darren Smith Homes provides a 10-year NHBC warranty with each home and has achieved a NHBC A1 rating, so quality is paramount.
Paul Findlay, Nuance product sales manager explains: "Darren Smith Homes saw the design and performance potential immediately. The company wanted something to make its bathrooms really stand out.
"Nuance is made right here in the UK. The choice of designs, decors and textures, the speed of installation and seamless look is second to none.
"Darren Smith Homes' tradespeople really took to the product and using BB Complete adhesive, installed all 38 bathrooms in a very short space of time."
Nuance panels are manufactured using a patented core that is 100% impervious to water. The panels can be used for walls, around the bath or basin, inside a shower enclosure or to create a true wet room.
Because there is no need for trims or extrusions, Nuance panels present a sleek, seam-free look that is especially effective in smaller bathrooms. The panelling is easy to clean too - no grout lines to attract grime, limescale and mould. All that is needed is a wipe down with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
