Vado announces launch of new VIV App
Vado has announced the launch of VIV; a highly innovative, augmented reality (AR) platform. VIV allows customers to view Vado's bathroom brassware in full-scale 3D from the convenience of their home via a mobile or tablet device.
This compelling new platform brings all of Vado's premium bathroom brassware to life, including favourites such as Kovera, Edit and the ly launched Omika. By simply scanning unique Vado trackers, you can view an augmented 3D model that perfectly replicates the scale, size and intricate details of every product, from mono basin mixers to shower valves and accessories.
Having launched a series of design-led products and brochures throughout 2017, Vado says it is now the first brassware manufacturer within the industry to release such advanced mobile technology. AR applications provide a real-life view of computer generated images which have rapidly become the foundation in creating fascinating interactive experiences.
With VIV, you can view each product in multiple finishes and various lights, save your desired bathroom essentials in a 'Favourites' tab and after visualising the tap, shower or accessory that suits your bathroom best. VIV will also assist you in finding your nearest Vado stockist.
Angela Neve, Vado's product & marketing director, comments: "We are delighted to be first to market with this new technology and since launching at our new London showroom, Material Lab, the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive from customers and consumers alike."
VIV is now available and free to download on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store and is compatible with all iOS and Android devices.
