Training success at Abode

Having previously gained NVQ Level 2 in Business & Administration as part of the Abode apprenticeship scheme, Ellie and Abbie studied with North Lancashire Training Group, on a course funded through the European Social Fund. This supports activities to extend employment opportunities and helps employers develop a skilled workforce.
As part of their ongoing career development with Abode, Ellie and Abbie successfully completed the training through a combination of tutoring on-site and private study. The NVQ Level 3 in Customer Service taught the necessary skills for achieving real customer satisfaction, including problem solving, organisation and communication skills.
"Abbie and Ellie excelled in their Level 3 qualification in Customer Service, gaining skills including being able to communicate in a calm, polite and professional manner towards their customers," explains course tutor Karen Cosgrove. "They have understood the importance of being able to build a relationship with other departments so that the customer obtains the correct and relevant service.
"Both Abbie and Ellie have committed themselves over the last 15 months to the qualification to ensure they complete."
