A quick peek at Peka...

It wasn't the largest stand at the show, but Peka stood out, thanks to the feeling of old-fashioned opulence that the display by this Swiss manufacturer of premium quality storage solutions and accessories evoked...

Not that there was anything old-fashioned about the exhibits - everything was of state-of-the-art design and the shelving and drawers moved smoothly and silently out of their units, as if they were fluid rather than solid.

The display included the recently-launched Fioro pull-out shelving system in a contemporary combination of anthracite metal and oiled oak. The stand team told us that this new pull-out shelving system includes a larder unit and various solutions for base units, including Magic Corner options to maximise the usable space in hard to access corners.

While Peka specialises in easy to install interior solutions for kitchens, the team stressed that, with the blurring of boundaries between the kitchen and living space, the smart new Fioro system can be used anywhere in the house for the efficient organisation of internal cupboard space - as the display showed so well.

To prevent items from moving, removable non-slip matting is included. Optional magnetic shelf dividers are also available for those wanting complete flexibility regarding the internal layout. And as with all Peka ranges, installation is simple and straightforward.
