Back to black - Carron Phoenix launches chic black ceramic Sapphira sink range

* Carron-Phoenix-Sapphira-150-black-ceramic-sink.jpgThere's nothing quite cuts it for style the way black does and Carron Phoenix is responding to the trend for colour and texture in the kitchen with the brand new Sapphira range of ceramic sinks in a rich and glamorous shade of black. Sapphira will be launched on June 1st along with a host of new sink and tap styles as part of the company's product update programme for 2011.

Two models will be available in black as well as the classic white, manufactured and kilned from premium grade clay ensuring a top quality lustrous finish without any of the tell-tale pin pricks of lesser grade and cheaper alternatives

Both the Sapphira 100 and 150 bowls measure 1010 x 510mm and fit into a 600mm cabinet. Sapphira is complemented by the smart chrome Revolution waste and stylish stainless steel basket.

Design-wise, the simplicity of the Sapphira model treads the line between classic and modern, making it highly versatile for a range of kitchen door styles and worksurface materials, whether in textured woodgrains, granites, organic tones or plain colours.

Says Neil Clark, sales and marketing director:

"Sales of black granite and black tap finishes have been growing steadily over the last eight months, signalling that customers regard black as a colour that can have longevity in the kitchen, rather than a passing fashion trend. Ceramic has time-honoured qualities that are always popular with consumers and we are confident that the black Sapphira style will open up its design potential even further."
