BMA launches new ageless design website

* BMA-ageless-design.jpgThe Bathroom Manufacturers Association has launched a new website dedicated to ageless design in the bathroom, to provide advice and information for consumers and professionals.

The new website has been designed to be easy to navigate and includes a host of useful information on products, design, installation and safety.

Visitors can search for suitable items for their home, or for a public building and download a series of fact sheets on a range of topics such as how to choose a supplier, or a guide to the latest regulations.

The website is supported by BMA members that cater for this market and incorporates best practice guidance and practical advice for anyone involved in designing inclusive bathrooms.

BMA CEO Yvonne Orgill says: "Bathing is an integral part of life, ensuring that cleanliness and good health is maintained. 10% of our population has special needs, suffering from some sort of disability and it is important that they have access to bathrooms in order to retain self-respect and independence.

"The ageless website will be continually improved and updated in the future and is a valuable resource for everyone that wants to create a bathroom which is easy to use and designed to make life easier."

The new website can be found at:
