British Ceramic Tile brings great British design to Spain with the Laura Ashley collection
British Ceramic Tile's global team has secured its latest new business opportunity, bringing British designer style to the Spanish tile market. The UK manufacturer, who designs and produces its market-leading product portfolio here in Britain, will be launching its Laura Ashley collection in Spain with the designer ceramic tiles available to buy in store and online at www.laurashley.es
Robert Critchlow, business development manager for British Ceramic Tile's global channel, says: "This is a real result for the business on multiple levels. Securing wider distribution for the business internationally is central to our ambitious growth strategy, especially in key European markets that are traditionally dominated by Spanish and Italian tile manufacturers.
"Not only will the Laura Ashley collection be available to buy online through the Spanish site, but it will also go in store, which gives us fantastic visibility for the brand. It's the first time consumers will be able to walk into a Laura Ashley store and order tiles. Sales in the UK are strong for this collection within the retail and housebuild channels, so we expect to see some positive sales coming through in a short space of time."
Featuring a number of Laura Ashley's signature prints, the collection is quintessentially British offering a wide range of ceramic tiles to appeal to all consumer tastes. Stand out ranges include Wicker and Mr Jones, a selection of stunning ceramic multiuse feature tiles that transform floors and walls with their elegant styling. Available in dove grey and charcoal in a 33x33cm size, both collections are well suited to bathrooms and kitchens.
Another highlight is Artisan, a metro shaped ceramic tile with a rustic, handmade feel. Designed to offer an extensive, muted colour palette, each tile features a rich glaze and comes in a range of sizes to suit all projects.
