Blanco's charity bake-off success

Blanco UK joined most of the country and hosted a coffee morning in aid of cancer charity, Macmillan. The fun included delicious home-made goodies and competitions, including a 'cake bake-off', 'place the cherry on the cake' and 'guess the length of the sausage roll'.

The event was a huge success and, thanks to donations from the staff who donated their winnings back into the pot and Simon Hart, managing director, who doubled the amount, the company raised a grand total of £500.

Blanco UK's marketing manager, Ann-Marie Jones, commented: "We chose to support Macmillan as many of us know or have known someone who has been affected by cancer; friends, family or work colleagues.

"It is an incredible charity offering support and advice for those who have just been diagnosed or have finished their treatment, and friends & family looking to support a loved one who has cancer."
