VitrA presents its latest designer collaboration and most iconic designs at Sleep + Eat 2018

* VitrA-show1.jpgPlush bathroom brand VitrA Bathrooms will present its latest designer collaboration alongside some of its most iconic designs on Stand J23 at Europe's prominent hotel design event Sleep + Eat, taking place for the first time at London's historical venue Olympia (20th - 21st November).

VitrA will introduce new additions to its emblematic Istanbul collection conceived by Welsh designer Ross Lovegrove. Influenced by the cultural and architectural diversity of the Turkish city, the range combines elements from both East and West. Ross Lovegrove imagined products that represent VitrA's heritage fused with its visionary approach to design.

* VitrA-show2.jpgThe Istanbul sanitaryware and furniture collection draws inspiration from Nature's organic shapes and the fluidity of water. The sleek forms and sophisticated blend of smooth lines create a remarkable sculptural structure. Illustrating this striking combination perfectly are the collection's two main additions, the new vanity unit and urinal, which will be on display at Sleep + Eat.

Following the partnership with Ross Lovegrove, VitrA has worked with a number of renowned designers, most recently collaborating with Terri Pecora on the Plural range.

* VitrA-show3.jpgConceived by Milan-based American designer Terri Pecora in collaboration with VitrA's design team, Plural is inspired by the heritage of communal bathing spaces and rituals, introducing the bathroom as a social hub where people reconnect with themselves, their close friends and family. VitrA's collaboration with Terri Pecora aims at reinterpreting the traditional bathroom lay-out and encourages new ways of utilising the space.

Terri has imagined organic-shaped design elements that can be used in multiple combinations to form a personalised intimate setting. The neutral colour palette and wood finishes, which are not usually seen within a bathroom environment, bring a sense of warmth and domesticity.

Part of the 'Living Bathroom' initiative that VitrA unveiled at Salone del Mobile 2018, both the Istanbul and Plural ranges aim to create an uplifting experience and provide wellbeing and joy when spending quality time in the bathroom. The two ranges will be complemented by two of the brand's latest tile collections, Cardostone and Miniworks.

Sleep + Eat will comprise an international exhibition, a conference bringing together visionaries and commentators to debate emerging issues and Sleep Set - concept room installations which this year will be joined by Eat Set. There will also be the pop-up Sleeper Bar, designed afresh each year as the event's buzzing social hub.
