New southern business development manager for Wirquin
Richard Whittington has been appointed as the new business development manager for Wirquin, supporting customers in the South West, Wales & West Midlands region.
Richard had previously worked for 13 years selling a technical pipework system into a variety of commercial industry sectors and this role included looking after a number of merchant customers too. His key focus at Wirquin is to develop business in his region both with merchants and to the specification market.
"I chose to move to Wirquin because I was simply blown away by the product range and the amazing innovation within it," he says. "Also, the constant search for new products the company wants to bring to market."
Wirquin is a family run, reknowned European sanitary equipment specialist offering the Celmac and Macdee brands in the UK. They provide installers with a wide range of innovatively-designed products including toilet seats, flushing mechanisms, frames, cisterns, wastes, connectors and wetroom products. All are designed and produced to be quick and easy to install and carry all necessary quality standards.
