Wentworth Kitchens Banbury - a breath of fresh air

* Mereway-lan-Vickers_Clive-Sephton.jpgWentworth Kitchens in Banbury opened its doors this month - a breath of fresh air for the area as the showroom has been taken on by new owner Clive Sephton and now hosts brand new displays.

Working closely in partnership with kitchen furniture manufacturer Mereway Kitchens, the two companies have created a stunning showroom to wow the locals, and celebrated with an open day event allowing customers to come along and take a tour of the studio.

* Mereway-coffee.jpgThe open day event included a fabulous cookery demonstration from Siemens home economist, Heather Middleton. Heather demonstrated Siemens appliance technology using steam ovens and induction hob to create culinary delights to tempt visitors.

On show is Wentworth Kitchens' spectacular kitchen furniture that has been selected in a combination of designs that mix a number of color's and finishes from an enticing palette. The showroom is packed full of interesting elements such as split level displays reflecting the latest in kitchen design, door and cabinet styles from the new English Revival painted Shaker range through to stunning Cucina Colore Lastra curves in cream and cappuccino tones and striking high gloss woodgrain.

Owner Clive Sephton is keen to grow the business to become one of the premium suppliers to the local community. The site comprises an extensive showroom displaying 10 stunning kitchen styles, with additional square footage of storage space too.

Clive holds an impressive 28 years' experience in the industry, following an apprenticeship working as a surveyor for many years and then taking on his father's kitchen business based in Solihull, Birmingham. He now works with two fitting teams and a reputable local builder. Combined with a sound 14 day lead time for delivery, this really places the company in a strong competitive position in the area.

Clive previously worked with Mereway for many years, buying carcasses initially and then moving onto buying more complete kitchens. He spotted this as a business opportunity and made the decision to work with Mereway directly whilst running his own business.

"I wanted to work with a manufacturer I was familiar with and trusted," explains Clive. "I recognised that Mereway offers a board range of complete kitchens that save both time and energy - making the kitchen installation process seamless and efficient.

"The Banbury showroom was available and ready, there were new displays to be fitted which didn't take long at all. I was ready to begin trading with Mereway in a very short space of time, which was just what I was looking for. Wentworth Kitchens remains above the door as we are proud to be a trading partner to Mereway Kitchens."

Following the same family ethics as Mereway, Clive is looking to grow the business through customer recommendation and an active marketing campaign over the coming months. His sons are now expressing an interest in learning the business and his wife will shortly be joining the team to make this a real family business.
