Hotpoint launches laundry cashback and free gift promotion

Hotpoint is aiming to encourage consumers to wash their clothes at a lower temperature with the company's innovative ActiveCare technology. Hotpoint ActiveCare washing machines can remove more than 100 stains, including coffee and ketchup, at just 20˚C.

Until 30th June 2019, consumers can enjoy the benefits of effective stain removal at a low temperature with the added bonus of £50 cashback when they purchase a selected Hotpoint washing machine. What's more, as a further incentive to choose Hotpoint's ActiveCare range, consumers can also receive a limited edition teddy bear with their purchase.

The promotion is also available on selected Hotpoint ActiveCare tumble dryers, which offer further protection for laundry. ActiveCare technology in Hotpoint tumble dryers combines Anti-Stress Movements alongside Perfect Temperature Control, to reduce the production of lint and prevent clothes from wearing out by up to 40%.

Retailers will be fully supported with digital assets including banners, as well as point of sale material such as posters and product stickers, to alert consumers to the promotion. The marketing material is available via their Hotpoint account manager.

Furthermore, during the promotion, Hotpoint ActiveCare laundry appliances will be advertised on television as well as other platforms including YouTube. The TV advertisement will introduce consumers to the limited-edition Hotpoint teddy bear, making it familiar when they notice it on the point of sale material in store.

Jennifer Taylor, Head of Brand, Hotpoint, says: "We really want to demonstrate to consumers that effective stain removal can be achieved when washing at a very low temperature. Many consumers are keen to reduce washing temperatures, to decrease energy consumption and running costs. Hotpoint identified this and developed ActiveCare technology as a result."
