Bushboard Evolve stars in 'Your Home Made Perfect'
Your Home Made Perfect is the first ever British virtual reality and visual effects property show - and Bushboard's Evolve ended up playing a starring in the first episode. Presented by Angela Scanlon, the groundbreaking property and makeover series sees architects Laura Jane Clark and Robert Jamison, transform ordinary homes into extraordinary ones. The results are presented to the home owners using virtual reality headsets, giving them a real life look at how the changes will work.
The first show, which was broadcast in early April, featured home owners Andy and Esther, parents of three small children who found their home too cramped and inconvenient for comfortable family life.
After seeing virtual presentations of how the two architects would change the home, the couple chose Robert Jamison's plan which featured an unusual angled extension and changes of level around the ground floor. The extension houses a large, airy kitchen diner with minimalist furniture teamed with Bushboard's revolutionary solid core Evolve worktop in Luna.
"The architect's design for the interior was crisp and elegantly simple, using minimal colour and warm wood," commented interior designer, Sian Astley, who is the build project manager for the show.
"Our homeowners were very attracted to the easy clean qualities of Evolve and its slim, sleek lines.
"The Luna colourway worked fabulously with the subtle, understated scheme at the core of the project's design."
Hannah Abbott, Graphic Design & PR Manager for Bushboard, says: "The Your Home Made Perfect scheme for Andy and Esther's home is delightfully spacious and light, and needed a perfect white worktop to compliment the look.
"Evolve, being a solid core 100% waterproof product, will look great and last for many years to come."
