VitrA announces UK premiere of Claudio Bellini collaboration at designjunction 2019

* VitrA-collab1.jpgLeading bathroom brand VitrA has chosen to premiere Equal, its latest designer collaboration, in the UK for the first time at designjunction 2019. Now in its ninth year, designjunction has proven itself to be the most anticipated exhibition of the London Design Festival, attracting over 27,000 visitors across five days in 2018.

This year VitrA will be showing Equal and Origin as well as unveiling the latest additions to Plural by Terri Pecora.

"We are very pleased to take part in designjunction again this year and look forward to introducing our new Equal and Origin collections to leading names in the design community for the first time in the UK," comments Margaret Talbot, VitrA UK marketing manager.

* VitrA-collab3.jpgThe new Equal collection by Claudio Bellini makes use of geometric shapes and monochrome tones. Using clean, minimal borders and industrial, metallic accents, Bellini's designs emulate the structures found in modernist architecture.

Framing many pieces in the range, the distinct metal rails bring an elegant look and feel and creates connections between the furniture using linear shapes. The collection features a mirror with integrated LED lighting, a selection of storage and washbasin units, and a wall-hung WC. The contemporary and versatile nature of the delicate, structured design makes it ideal for both commercial and residential spaces.

* VitrA-collab4.jpgThe contemporary collection infuses the washroom with tranquillity through its use of pure shapes and seamless joints. Developed carefully in collaboration with VitrA's in-house design team, Equal aims to maintain the illusion of fluidity - using the smooth edges to mimic the natural contours of lakes, alongside more structured lines to ground the aesthetic. Exploring the synthesis between manmade structures and natural shapes creates the perfect harmony throughout the collection.

Terri Pecora's award-winning Plural collection will also be showcased at designjunction 2019, including the selection of new products introduced this year. For this range, Terri reimagined the washroom as a living space, using smooth, rounded edges and solid woods to emulate furniture usually found in other rooms of the home. The set will feature the free-standing bathroom furniture including the large countertop with countertop bowls, as well as the monoblock washbasin and back-to-wall WC, paired with Vetro flush plate.

* VitrA-collab2.jpgVitrA will also be showing the Origin collection of brassware, including a new showerhead, shower mixer and range of basin mixers. Available in four different finishes (Brushed Nickel, Chrome, Copper and Matt Black), Origin offers an integrated and charming finishing touch to the bathroom. Its minimal aesthetic complements the style of VitrA's more contemporary ranges showcased at the exhibition.

Visit VitrA on Stand F9 at designjunction: Cubitt House, King's Cross, N1C, from Thursday 19th September - Sunday 22nd September 2019.
