Roca backs installation standards

* Roca-standards.jpgPremium bathroom manufacturer Roca UK has been unveiled as the latest industry giant to join The British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom Installation as a Corporate Sponsor.

Roca began life in 1917 as a manufacturer of cast iron radiators at its factory in Gavà, near Barcelona. From humble origins, the company has grown into a global business driven by a firm focus on improving the quality of life for its customers.

Roca prides itself on setting the standards in bathroom design, providing the best service whilst remaining true to its four core values: responsible, anticipating, in-touch and appealing. Roca's constant investment in design and product manufacturing, entrepreneurial spirit and independence as a family-owned business, set it apart and demonstrate why it is globally recognised as a reference company in the bathroom space.

The company, which employs over 23,600 people globally, manufactures at 78 facilities around the world and is active in over 170 markets. In the UK, the company has been at the forefront of bathroom design for decades, even before the opening of its Leicestershire subsidiary in 1993.

Alan Dodds, managing director at Roca Group UK (pictured) says: "Roca UK is delighted to be sponsoring The BiKBBI. As a leading bathroom manufacturer, it is important for us to collaborate with an organisation that supports the installer community and continues to improve standards within the industry. We look forward to working closely with the BiKBBI and their members."

BiKBBI communications manager Nicole Mercer says of the coup: "We are thrilled to have the support of Roca, a business that has a rich history of producing amazing product. Its vision for supporting installations as part of the overall strategy is welcomed by us and we look forward to supporting the company in connecting with professional installation businesses and sharing training and development opportunities with our part of the sector.

"Our search for new corporate members continues. Anyone wishing to find out more should get in touch. It's a great time to get involved with BiKBBI."
