Rangemaster introduces new Nexus Steam dual fuel range cooker

Steam cooking retains foods' moisture, flavour and nutritional value, making it one of the healthiest ways to cook. Rangemaster's new Nexus Steam uses pure steam injection to rapidly heat its cavity. The technology allows the user to control the temperature to within a single degree for precise and flexible cooking. It also prevents the transfer of flavours, allowing the user to cook different types of foods at once.

The steam cavity, which sits on the appliance's right-hand side, comes complete with a deep, stainless steel perforated baking tray, a standard baking tray and a non-telescopic wire shelf.

The high-tech appliance also contains a Deluxe Glide-out Grill with four-way trivet for flexible grilling and an 11-function multifunction oven. The oven includes two new innovative functions: 'Duo', which eliminates the need to precook (blind bake) pastry for flans, tarts and pies as both base and filling will be cooked through simultaneously; and 'Delicate' which could be used for bain-marie cooking.

The oven also boasts a generous 79-litre capacity and precise electronic temperature controls, which are also accurate to within a single degree.

The range cooker also includes a dedicated proving drawer and a seven burner-hob, composed of four smaller burners, a large wok burner and a multi-zone griddle - offering a smooth, non-stick surface for a healthier way to cook meat, fish or vegetables.

The flexibility and functionality of the Nexus Steam make it the ideal model for family cooking and entertaining with ease. Plus, preparing the perfect Sunday roast has never been simpler, thanks to the ability to simultaneously steam vegetables and puddings, roast meat and potatoes in the oven, warm gravy or sauce on the hob, as well as griddling any additional sides.

The 110cm-wide appliance also boasts a new sealed-glass fascia design that is unique to the Nexus Steam. The glass exterior is complemented by two LED displays, touch and tap digital controls and stylish Hi-fi rotary controls which offer precision and ease of use.

The Nexus Steam is available in four modern colour options: Black, Stainless Steel, Ivory or Slate.
