Devon&Devon consolidates presence on English market
As of November 2019, the well-known Devon&Devon store in the heart of Notting Hill has become one of the brand's portfolio of directly operated stores, all of which are located in the most important cities in the world.
"We are particularly pleased to consolidate our presence in London," explains Graziano Verdi, CEO of Devon&Devon, "Not only because of the importance of the English market in terms of turnover and relations with specifiers, but also because of the special relationship we have always had with England - to which we owe our name, the neo-Victorian design of our best-sellers and the high-quality of our pieces of china, produced from the very beginning in small British manufacturing districts."
As a celebration of this acquisition, the Westbourne Grove showroom will be re-imagined in a way that beautifully illustrates the values, quality and history of the Florentine brand, which this year celebrates its 30th anniversary.
Says general manager Nicola Bertini: "Devon&Devon considers each of its stores all over the world as ambassadors of its philosophy of living, of the Italian quest for perfection and of its distinctive style, characterised by timeless products that reinterpret the best of European tradition and 20th-century design with an attentive focus on the present."
As well as the complete and co-ordinated look for the bathroom, the 200sq.m London showroom will offer solutions for the interior design of the whole home (including marble, ceramic and wooden floorings and wallcoverings; wallpapers and furniture; mirrors, lamps and accessories). In the store, private customers, interior designers, architects and contractors will also discover 'Tailored Interiors' - an exclusive tailor-made design service.
