Bank of England to present at BMA Finance Directors Forum 2020
The Bathroom Manufacturers Association has confirmed that Graeme Chaplin, West Midlands agent at the Bank of England, will make a presentation on 'current economic headwinds' and lead a debate on the current state of the sector, at its Finance Directors Forum on 31st March.
Graeme will be joined by an impressive line-up of other speakers that will cover; what every bathroom manufacturer should know about cryptocurrency, trends in FX strategy, the legislative horizon and what are the next generation risks?
The forum will provide an opportunity for finance directors to update their knowledge and share best practice. The day incorporates presentations, discussions and a panel debate, allowing delegates the opportunity to engage and network.
Speakers include Olinga Taeed, visiting professor, Birmingham City University; Andy Medler, MoneyCorp; Jonathan McArdle, Marsh Commercial, Ben Delaney, assistant regional director of the CBI and Tom Reynolds, BMA chief executive.
"This forum provides members with a valuable opportunity to step out of the office to make new contacts, keep up to date on developments that impact them, and steer their trade body to influence on issues to improve the bottom line," explains Tom Reynolds.
The Finance Directors Forum takes place on 31st March at Trent House, Stoke-on-Trent, ST4 2LW from 09.00 until 15.10. Places are free for BMA members, £69 plus VAT for non-members.
