New Reno tap works the trend for texture and colour

* Carron-Phoenix-Reno-Jet-Black.jpgCarron Phoenix has updated its popular Reno tap style by introducing it in a stylish combination of textured granite and polished chrome finishes. The tap was launched on July 1st, when the company unveiled its newly updated 2011/2012 portfolio with nine new taps and several new sink models including the Sapphira ceramic, Carlow ceramic, Deca Belfast and Ergo 200 in stainless steel.

Reno Jet Black reflects the ongoing trend for texture and colour in the kitchen, linked to the rising popularity for granite coloured sinks with black being the strongest selling colour currently.

The Reno Jet Black offers the flexibility for an integrated design look with a black granite sink tying the two products together, while equally working in a material-mix way with a pure stainless steel sink too. The Reno tap is a popular selling tap in Carron's portfolio based on its easy style and functionality, combining a slim cylindrical body, directional spout and single lever handle. In addition to Jet Black granite, brushed nickel and polished chrome finishes are available too.

Says Neil Clark, sales and marketing director:

"Consumers are warming ever more to texture and colour because it brings design interest and the Reno Jet Black has the advantages of being able to work in perfect harmony with one of our jet black granite sinks, or be a smart contrast to a polished stainless steel bowl."
