Traditional kitchen taps in fashion

* BLANCO-retro.jpgThe kitchen has always been the heart of the home and the recent lockdown has seen people spending more and more time in this space; socialising in a family bubble, cooking, home schooling, crafting - the list goes on. People have had time to imagine their perfect kitchen and enquiries to retailers are strong.

The latest home décor trends feature blends of classic and modern styles in every room. Ultramodern and minimalism mix effortlessly with the industrial, antique and traditional. The kitchen is a prime example. Always a personality statement, the kitchen reflects the taste and lifestyle of each individual homeowner - and anything goes now! Mixing colour and mute furniture with both modern and classic combinations of appliances and accessories is an overall trend across homestyle media.

A staple combination is the traditional tap with the farmhouse sink; yet also evident is a mix of modern sink materials such as Silgranit with a classic tap in copper and brass, for example. And, in turn, smart taps can, of course, be combined with traditional sinks.

Pictured is a perfect centrepiece; the Brushed Copper Vicus tap from Blanco UK which combines the elegance of a classic design with a modern edge.

The Vicus family consists of the twin lever, the bridge twin lever and the single lever spray. An additional key feature of the Vicus single lever is the pull-out spray from the hose which can be used to clean the extended work area. All three models are available in Chrome, Pewter, Brushed Brass and now Brushed Copper with matching soap dispensers.

Blanco is all about systems that are meticulously designed down to the finest detail for the water hub in household kitchens. The brand has won over consumers worldwide with its modern design, ergonomic handling and reliable product quality.

All components are perfectly integrated with one another, from the mixer tap to the sink, and all the way through to the base cabinet configuration. As such, Blanco systems make a significant contribution towards sustainably upgrading high-quality kitchens around the globe with everyday convenience and benefits when it comes to preparing food, drinking and cleaning.

Founded over 90 years ago, the company is now one of the leading manufacturers of sinks and kitchen mixer taps worldwide. With subsidiaries in Europe, North America and Asia, plus its trading partners, Blanco has a presence in about 100 countries all over the world and offers its customers a portfolio that is perfectly tailored to consumer needs.

In 2019, The BLANCO Group generated consolidated annual sales of 395 million euros and had 1,515 employees on average, of whom 1,090 worked in Germany and 425 at the international locations.
