Verona releases new statement tiles to bring new design potential to walls and floors
Designed to stimulate the senses, Lilypad is a new statement tile from Verona. Made from high quality glazed porcelain, this new collection is set to elevate interior surfaces with its modern hexagonal format and striking geometric pattern, bringing new design potential to walls and floors.
Combining the opulence of the Art Deco era with a modern edge, Lilypad is a versatile collection that works equally well across bathroom floors as it does kitchen walls. Blending a soft, delicate colour palette with a striking linear pattern, this tile is ideal for homeowners who want something more decorative and out of the ordinary.
Available in four trend-led shades of Sea Blue, Rose, Grey and Mint, Lilypad Rose and Grey work particularly well alongside burnished brass or rose gold accents, dark woodgrains and rich glazed finishes for a contemporary take on the Art Deco movement, while Sea Blue or Mint with crisp white walls and light woods transform a space into a fresh, modern design brimming with energy.
Each tile offers a six-sided format in a 267x232mm size and is easy to install, with the hexagon tiles laid in any direction, vertically, horizontally or diagonally, to create an intriguing, geometric design.
Katy Black, marketing director at Verona explains: "Art Deco is a style we've enjoyed in many different guises over the years, most often favoured by boutique hotels, restaurants and bars. With homeowners looking to bring more colour into the home and deliver a sense of personality through their surface choices, we decided to release a collection that which would appeal to the creative homeowner, looking to make a statement with playful walls and floors."
To support the launch within independent retailers, hand boards are available to showcase Lilypad. The new designs will also be added to the existing Crafted collection display stands with current stockists later this year, with more Crafted stands planned in 2021 for retailers who don't currently have one. There is also the option for retailers to download lifestyle and product shots from the Verona trade portal to use in marketing materials.
Founded in 2001 as the Mosaic Tile Company, Verona has grown to become the UK's largest distributor of tiles and mosaics in natural stone, porcelain, ceramic and glass. The company is based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, and supplies independent and multiple retailers nationwide, offering a broad portfolio of products at competitive prices, backed up by excellent customer service and a range of professional marketing and merchandising support.
