Bespoke kitchen maker is Northern Design Awards finalist
West Yorkshire-based furniture maker Drew Forsyth & Co has been announced as a finalist in the Northern Design Awards 2020.
The awards honour the most highly regarded designers, architects and retailers in the North of England, with a strong judging panel, including Linda Barker and Wayne Hemingway.
Drew Forsyth & Co is a finalist in the Kitchen Space under £50k category, with a project that epitomises the quality of the company's work. Serving the people of West Yorkshire and beyond for over 50 years, the family owned business has its factory and showroom in the market town of Hebden Bridge, where the team of highly skilled craftsmen build furniture for not just kitchens, but every room in the home, from utility and boot rooms to libraries, bedrooms and even wine stores.
The project put forward for the award was a remodel of an orangery to create a practical family kitchen, with the designer making the most of the prorperty's characterful features. The bespoke shaker furniture lends the space an air of refinement and luxury, with a design that is uncomplicated yet full of personality.
Commenting on reaching the final stage of the Awards, director George Forsyth says: "We are delighted to be a finalist in this category. Our team of talented designers and furniture makers work tirelessly to create dream spaces for our clients and we couldn't be moreproud of this outcome."
